Healthy Habits for Happy Bodies

Identifying different food groups and understanding how food provide energy for the body.
Learning the importance of handwashing and personal hygiene to prevent the spread of illness.
Exploring why the body needs sleep and quiet moments to stay healthy.

Object Control and Coordination
Developing fine and gross motor skills through the manipulation of equipment like balls and beanbags.
Learning the mechanics of the underhand throw and aiming for targets.
Practicing tracking objects and using hands to receive items safely.
Introduction to contacting a ball with the feet and following its path.
Exploring finger pads and hand control while bouncing a ball in place.

Working and Playing Together
Focusing on social-emotional learning, cooperation, and following rules in physical activities.
