Secondary 1
Secondary 1 History: Southeast Asian history, early civilisations, the maritime empires of Srivijaya and Majapahit, and the story of early Singapura. Students build a foundation in the region's deep past.

Secondary 2
Secondary 2 History: colonial Singapore, British rule, the diverse communities under colonial governance, and World War II including the Japanese Occupation in depth. Students examine the forces that shaped modern Singapore.

Secondary 3
Secondary 3 History: post-war Southeast Asia, decolonisation, Singapore's merger with Malaysia, independence, and the early challenges of nation-building. Students analyse the dramatic political events that created modern Singapore.

Secondary 4
Secondary 4 History: modern Singapore, the economic miracle, housing and education policies, defence, and Singapore's role in ASEAN and the world. Students evaluate the policies and decisions that built a global city.
Pre-University (JC1-JC2)

JC 1
JC 1 History: Southeast Asian history from colonialism to nationalism, the Cold War in Asia, the formation of ASEAN, and comparative political systems. Students develop sophisticated analytical skills through the study of regional and international history.

JC 2
JC 2 History: international history encompassing the Cold War, decolonisation, globalisation, the United Nations, and 21st-century challenges. Students engage with global perspectives and develop rigorous historical analysis skills.
